But I'm alone, on this throne

bow top: H&M | cardigan: GAP | jeans: HARLOW | heels: NINE WEST | wristlet: ZARA

Moved back home on Tuesday, and since then I have been having a hard time just settling down. Everytime I leave home for Uni, it's like I'm shedding my life here and putting it on pause. Now that I'm back for the next four months, trying to live in this old/new skin feels awfully familiar but different.

I have been picking up the interest in developing my knowledge in mens wear. Mens wear is a whole 'nother world but absolutely fascinating nonetheless!

My birthday is just around the corner. Excited? Not really. For me right now, where I'm at in my life, turning 21 brings a new set of problems and responsibilities. I'm all about growing up, developing, and shaping a better version of my yesterday self. However, right now at this moment... I'm in dire need of some saving.

Oh well, at least this can give me an excuse to find myself a birthday outfit :)

It ends here

blazer, leggings, & ring: H&M | shirt & wristlet: Zara | flats: Spring

Last exam tomorrow, woot!

I'm only 20 but sometimes I feel like my body is much older. Started to clean the apartment last night since I'll be moving back home for the summer. Forty minutes in and I pulled a lower back nerve that left me immobile the whole night. I'm better now, since I did a bunch of stretches, but bending over still hurts :(

"Every era builds character"

Can't tell you how much I love this video.

This is what fashion is about: having fun, making mistakes, and using your creativity to its full potential. Fashion is art. Your body is a blank canvas and your wardrobe are the paints. Dress how you feel, dress for yourself, and certainly rock what you're wearing.

Ah these women are inspiring!

Adventurer's Blood

I have a huge love for adventuring. Doesn't matter how short or how long, or if it's in an alley way packed with graffiti painted walls, or even around the beautiful city of Toronto! The thrill of just finding new things to see, great food, and places to discover gets my blood going. It was also one of the things that I love about the boyfriend: he would never say no for some good ol' adventure time!

Harbour Diner
486 James St. N
Hamilton, ON

Last week a good friend of mine and I dined in a local food joint near a harbour. I instantly fell in love with the rustic decor, the positive atmosphere, and fresh food! So I decided to take the boyfriend for some good food, and find that beautiful harbour I have been wanting to go for so long.

Sorry for the half ass outfit photo! It was just to cold and windy so I had to settle with this one shot. I also didn't want the camera to fall from it's inevitable doom, since it was battling between the slanted makeshift "tripod" and the wind. Though.. I might scam for boyfriend's photos... hehehe :3
Btw don't wear leggings in a 9 degrees weather. Though I did layer it with tights, but I got to excited 'cause of the temperature and wasn't accounting for the wind... shame on me ):

One of the greatest thing about living here for 8 months: sun set.

T-minus 13 days until freedom! Gosh, I'm in dire need of some summer and a good week of relaxation. Uni gets me seriously worked up :(

P.s. Boat namers are hilarious:

First pair

oxfords: Aldo

Boyfriend found these sitting on the bottom shelf and I instantly fell in love with them! My next goal purchases are: boat shoes and loafers. Though I wish I could get my hands on those Spiked Louboutin Loafers... Sigh~ one day!
blazer, sheer top & tweed shorts: H&M | tights: Urban Outfitters | bow heels: Winners

So much for promising a post full of March outfits huh?

One of my good friend had her birthday early in March, and one of the most memorable memory I had during the dinner was her boyfriend busting out his guitar and singing her favourite song! I'm not a huge romantic kind of person, but I thought it was the cutest moment I have witness in my life! We also hit up a local club right after the dinner. I actually have a long rant about the typical dress code girls fall under in clubs, but long story short: I despise those boobie hanging and ass flaring dresses. Which inspired this outfit, I wanted to be the odd ball out hahaha. A chick can look sexy when baring the minimum too!

Anyways, I just had a massive brain fart an hour ago. Preparation for exams does nothing but stresses me out! Time for bed, good night! :)

Here to hopes

The Boyfriend made me feel guilty for the lack of dedication to my blog. Which made me feel guilty towards my Lumix LX5, its not getting enough use! So I have decided for tomorrow that I'll post a bunch of outfits that I have worn throughout the month of March!

Sitting on the bus to Uni the other day I realized how ridiculous we all looked wearing winter wear at the end of March. Crossing my fingers that from here on we'll get the spring that Canada deserves!
